The e-Statement service allows clients to manage statements in an electronic format through Citibank Online anytime, anywhere. e-Statement offers the same comprehensive information as paper statements.

Enrollment is easy. Simply log on to Citibank Online to enroll in the e-Statement service!
Once you have successfully enrolled, you will receive an email confirmation and the e-Statement service will be effective
immediately.

Banking consolidated paper statement fee
Effective from December 1, 2018, if a client receives monthly banking consolidated paper statement(s) (regardless of the number of paper statements received), a fee of HK$10 will be applied to each customer each month and will be directly debited from the relevant banking account*.
The fee is applicable to clients who hold Citigold Private Client, Citigold, Citi Priority, Citibanking accounts (excluding company clients).
Credit card paper statement fee
Effective from January 15, 2019, if a client receives monthly credit card statement(s), a fee of HK$10 will be applied for each statement received each month and will be directly debited from the relevant
credit card account*. For paper statements of credit card accounts which have the same statement generation date, they will be counted as one statement and only one fee of HK$10 will be debited from a credit card
account.
The fee is applicable to any credit cards (except Diners Club Card and Citi ULTIMA).

With the increasing trend of digitalization, customers can view their statements conveniently via desktop/laptop computer or mobile app. To help drive the reduction of paper consumption in conserving our natural resources, we are imposing the Paper Statement Fee to encourage clients to switch to e-Statement.
The Paper Statement Fee for banking consolidated statements is applicable to clients who hold Citigold Private Client, Citigold, Citi Priority, Citibanking (excluding Company clients).
The Paper Statement Fee for credit card statements is applicable to any credit cards (except Diners Club card and Citi ULTIMA).
Fees associated with Banking consolidated paper statements will be debited from the HKD Savings account as the first priority. If clients do not have a HKD Savings account or there is insufficient funds in the account, the Bank will debit the fee from the account according to the following sequence: (1) HKD Checking account (including Step Up Interest Account), (2) HKD Call Deposit account, (3) USD Savings account, (4) USD Checking account, (5) USD Call Deposit account, (6) Renminbi Savings account and (7) Call deposit account of other foreign currencies. If clients hold more than one Citibank account of the same type, the bank will debit the fee from the account with the smallest account number.
Fees associated with Credit Card paper statements will be debited from the credit card account associated with the paper statement. Fees will not be debited from Diners Club Card and Citi ULTIMA.
Exemptions will be applied to the following groups:
For (ii) to (iv), eligible clients are required to inform the Bank proactively in order to apply for the exemptions via self-declaration or by providing supporting documents. For banking joint accounts, the charge will be exempted only if the primary account holder is eligible for the exemption.
No. Exemptions will be applied to clients who reach 65 during the calendar year. Since you will be aged 65 in 2019, you will be exempted from the fee.
You can avoid the Paper Statement Fee by simply enrolling in the e-Statement service. You will be able to view, download and print out past statements via Citibank Online at any time you need them. For credit card statements, you can also view them via Citi Mobile App.
No, the Paper Statement Fee will be directly debited from the relevant banking and/or credit card account. Such transactions will be reflected on the statement, and no separate notice will be sent.
Applicable to clients with banking accounts
Yes. The Paper Statement Fee for banking consolidated statements will be applied to each customer each month, (regardless of the number of statements received in a month). However, if you receive 3 banking consolidated paper statements for your single name and joint accounts in January 2019, the Bank will treat you as one customer and you will only be subject to a Paper Statement Fee of HK$10 for the month.
Yes. The Paper Statement Fee will be applied for banking consolidated statements and credit card statements respectively. In February 2019, since you will receive a credit card paper statement, you will still be subject to a paper statement fee of HK$10 per statement for your credit card statement each month.
For joint accounts, the charge will be exempted only if the primary account holder is eligible for the exemption. If your wife is the primary account holder of this joint account, the account will be exempted from the Paper Statement Fee.
Yes, you will be charged the Paper Statement Fee, but not on a pro-rata basis. Since you have already received a paper statement in December 2018, the full Paper Statement fee of HK$10 will apply and will be debited from your banking account on the first business day of January 2019. Clients are recommended to enroll in the e-Statement service as soon as possible to enjoy the hassle-free benefits of managing e-Statements online for free.

Applicable to clients with credit cards
Yes. The Paper Statement Fee of HK$10 will be applied for each credit card statement received each month. As you received 3 credit card paper statements in January 2019, you will be subject to a Paper Statement Fee of HK$30.
Yes. The Paper Statement Fee of HK$10 will be applied for each credit card statement received each month. However, as your 2 credit cards have the same statement generation date, the Bank will send you one statement and only one fee of HK$10 will be debited from a credit card account.
Yes. The Paper Statement Fee of HK$10 will be applied for each credit card statement received each month, but is not applicable to Citi ULTIMA. As you received 1 paper statement for your Citi PremierMiles Card, you will be subject to a Paper Statement Fee of HK$10 for your Citi PremierMiles Card. No Paper Statement Fee will be applied for your Citi ULTIMA.

After you have created the User ID and password, you can log on and follow the steps to enroll in the e-Statement service.
You will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully enrolled in the e-Statement service, and the service will be effective immediately. Afterwards, you will receive an email notification (instead of postal delivery) when your statement is ready. You can then log on to Citibank Online to view or download your statement.

No. Once you enroll in e-Statement service for credit cards, this will apply to ALL the credit cards you hold.
Yes. You can enroll in e-Statement for different types of account. There are 4 types of account - “Banking accounts”, “Credit card and ready credit accounts”, “Diners Club accounts” and “Mortgage accounts”. If you only enroll in e-Statement service for “Banking accounts”, paper statements of all banking accounts will be suppressed. However, you can still receive paper statements for your credit card accounts.
Yes. Once the primary account holder of the joint account enrolled in e-Statement service for “ALL banking account”, paper statement of this joint account will be suppressed. Any of the account holders will no longer receive the paper statement of this account.
Notification
You will receive e-Statement reminder email within 2 business days after the statement generation date. Customers should contact us if there is any delay or problem with receiving the e-Statement reminder email.
Upon successful enrollment in e-Statement services, we will stop mailing paper statements to your registered address. You can log on to Citibank Online to print your past statements if necessary.
