Citi The Club Credit Card - General Terms and Conditions:
- Unless otherwise specified, these programs and offers apply to spending by Principal and Supplementary Cardholders (each “a Cardholder”) with Citi The Club Credit Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”).
- The Cardholder must be a member of “The Club Membership Program” (“The Club”) operated by Club HKT Limited (“Club HKT”), which provides a platform offering its members various benefits and services including: redemption of Clubpoints for designated goods and services, tailored marketing and management of members' The Club Accounts. Subject to Terms and Conditions of The Club Membership Program which is referred to in Clause 4 hereunder, current individual customers of qualifying services supplied by the companies within the HKT Group or the PCCW Group will be awarded with Clubpoints which are proportionate to the eligible spending for those qualifying services (see definition of “qualifying services” in Terms and Conditions of The Club) and Principal Cardholder will be awarded with Clubpoints for eligible transactions (“Eligible Transactions”, made by Principal Cardholder and (if any) Supplementary Cardholders, which is described further in “Citi The Club Credit Card Clubpoints Rebate Program” Terms & Conditions) by spending with the Eligible Card (collectively “Clubpoints Rebate”). Clubpoints are the only currency which can be used by members of The Club to exchange for benefits within The Club. At no time and under no circumstance could any Clubpoint be converted into cash.
- Upon submission of Card Application Form via any channels, Cardholders acknowledge and agree that Citibank shall provide to Club HKT and Club HKT shall use the relevant personal data of the Cardholders for The Club Membership application purpose. Club HKT may further contact Cardholders to confirm the details and/or to verify the data with the Cardholders by phone calls (if necessary). If the Cardholders are not yet The Club members or the data provided cannot be matched with the data on Club HKT's database, the Cardholders agree that Club HKT will create a new Membership ID for the Cardholders using the data obtained from Citibank and Cardholders agree that they have read, understood and accepted all the terms and conditions contained in the Terms and Conditions of The Club which is referred to in Clause 4 hereunder.
- Redemption of Clubpoints and all matters relating to The Club are subject to the Terms and Conditions of The Club which may be amended by Club HKT from time to time. For details, please visit https://www.theclub.com.hk/en/terms-and-conditions.html. Citibank shall not in any way be responsible or liable for any matters or dealings under The Club.
- Subject to Clauses 6 and 7 below, Citibank shall transfer the entitlement record of the amount of Clubpoints earned under the “Citi The Club Credit Card Clubpoints Rebate Program” to Club HKT to credit the Clubpoints to The Club Account accordingly. Citibank shall not be responsible or liable for any matter related to the products or services solely provided by The Club including the handling, usage or redemption of Clubpoints once the Clubpoints are credited in The Club Account.
- Clubpoints earned by both the Principal Cardholders and Supplementary Cardholders will be awarded and credited to The Club Account of the Principal Cardholders.
- Members of The Club are eligible for redemption of Clubpoints at The Club's Platform, which refers to the loyalty and e-commerce platform developed, operated, and maintained by Club HKT offering the sales and purchase of various products or services to consumers in Hong Kong, including Club HKT's mobile application(s) and website(s) (https://www.citibank.com.hk/www.theclub.com.hk/; https://shop.theclub.com.hk/ or such other URL that may serve the same purpose from time to time).
- Cardholders are required to provide accurate The Club membership information including surname, given name, membership ID and any other information as may be required in the Eligible Card application form and thereafter from time to time or as required and to maintain a valid The Club Account at all relevant times in order to participate in this Clubpoints Program, and for the Clubpoints to be credited to Principal Cardholders' The Club Accounts. The Club Account must be owned by the Principal Cardholders. Subsequent change of The Club Account associated with their Eligible Card is not allowed unless in exceptional circumstances which will be determined by Citibank and Club HKT in their sole discretion. Cardholder must maintain valid Eligible Card accounts with a good credit record and The Club Account which must be in-force-valid as at the credit of the Clubpoints. In case there is any actual or suspected fraud / abuse, Citibank reserves the absolute right to charge the equivalent value of the Clubpoints awarded under these programs directly from the Eligible Card account without prior notice, forfeit the Cardholder's eligibility to be entitled to the offers, and/or suspend the Eligible Card account for investigation without prior notice.
- Availability of the Clubpoints is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and Club HKT's absolute discretion.
- Unless otherwise specified, all offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts, or promotion coupons, nor be transferred or exchange for cash or other offers.
- Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the provision of the products or services by Club HKT. Club HKT shall not be liable for any matters in relation to the provision of the products or services by Citibank. Club HKT is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to its products or services and all auxiliary services and Citibank is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to its products or services and all auxiliary services.
- Should any transaction in the monthly statement be cancelled or refunded for whatever reason, Clubpoints earned in respect to those transactions will be deducted or cancelled by Citibank and/or Club HKT.
- Citibank reserve the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
- All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and Club HKT.
- No person other than Cardholder, Citibank or Club HKT will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of these terms and conditions.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
- In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
“Citi The Club Credit Card Clubpoints Rebate Program” Terms and Conditions:
- These terms and conditions shall be read in conjunction with the General Terms and Conditions. Citi The Club Credit Card Clubpoints Rebate Program (“Clubpoints Program”) applies to spending by the Principal and Supplementary Cardholder (each a “Cardholder”) with Citi The Club Credit Card (“Eligible Card”) issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”).
- This Clubpoints Program applies to “Eligible Transactions” made with Citi The Club Credit Card. Eligible Transactions refers to all local and overseas posted retail transactions as determined by Citibank from time to time but excludes all “Ineligible Transactions” referred to below.
- “Ineligible Transactions” are not eligible for Clubpoints include but not limited to, cash advances, fee and charges, withdrawal amount under the Balance Transfer Program, Cash Conversion Program and Quick Cash Installment Program, “FlexBill” Installment Program and “PayLite” Installment Program, payment to the Inland Revenue Department, casino transaction, online bill payment (except for recurring auto-bill payment i.e. direct debit authorization (“DDA”) of csl, 1O1O, Now TV, NETVIGATOR setup through Designated Service Merchants), transactions through Faster Payment System (FPS) Service, "Dynamic Currency Conversion transactions", i.e. transactions with conversion from a foreign currency into Hong Kong Dollars involved at the point of the transaction, or unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions. Citibank may add to, or remove from, the list of “Ineligible Transactions” from time to time at its discretion. The decision of Citibank as to what constitutes an “Ineligible Transactions” shall be final and conclusive.
- Clubpoints earned cannot be converted into cash or Citi Rewards Points and are non-transferrable.
- “Designated Merchant” means the selected merchants(s) and the spending with the Eligible Card at these merchants is entitled to “Bonus Clubpoint Program” and is subject to change by Citibank from time to time.
- Clubpoints Rebate will be awarded to the corresponding Eligible Transactions posted. Cardholders can earn Clubpoints proportionate to the spending in each Eligible Transaction under the following categories:
- “Basic Clubpoint Program”: Cardholders will be awarded with 1 Clubpoint for every HK$20 spending. For Eligible Transactions made in foreign currency, Clubpoint awarded will be calculated based on the amount in Hong Kong Dollar after conversion posted. This Basic Clubpoint earnings ratio is equivalent to 1% of rebate* in Clubpoints. The promotion period of this offer is from March 7, 2022 to December 31, 2024, both dates inclusive.
- “Bonus Clubpoint Program”: Cardholders will be awarded with bonus 3 Clubpoints for every HK$20 spending of Eligible Transac- tions in selected Designated Merchants (with merchant code as defined by the Bank/ Card Association from time to time) as stated in https://www.citibank.com.hk/english/credit-cards/cititheclub/merchants.pdf, provided that transactions made with Designated Merchants through Alipay, PayPal, WeChat Pay or other third party payment methods will not be eligible for Bonus Clubpoint, unless otherwise specified. Including the Basic Clubpoint Program, the Bonus Clubpoint Program earnings ratio is equivalent to a total of up to 4% rebate* in Clubpoints. The rebate earned under this Bonus Clubpoint Program is subject to a maximum cap of 1,500 Clubpoints for each Eligible Card account per statement cycle. The promotion period of this offer is from April 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024, both dates inclusive, unless otherwise specified.
- “Clubpoint on Auto Bill Payment of csl, 1O1O, Now TV, NETVIGATOR”: Cardholders will be awarded with a total up to 4% rebate* in Clubpoints on their monthly auto-bill payment with csl, 1O1O, Now TV and NETVIGATOR, which consists of the 1% rebate* in Clubpoints earned from the Basic Clubpoints Program (i.e. 1 Clubpoint for every HK$20 eligible spending) and up to 3% rebate* in Clubpoints earned through The Club Membership Program. If cardholder cancels the auto-bill payment on csl, 1O1O, Now TV and/or NETVIGTAOR, the Cardholder will not be eligible for bonus rebate in Clubpoints. - Clubpoints reversal will be applied for those Clubpoints to be provided by Citibank in the statement cycle when reversal transaction is posted which differ from the statement cycle of corresponding purchase transaction.
- The Clubpoints earned through Citi The Club Credit Card in each statement cycle will be shown in the credit card monthly statement.

"Pay with Clubpoints - Push Notification Redemption Service" Terms and Conditions
- The Pay with Clubpoints - Push Notification Redemption Service (the "Service") is only applicable to the principal cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi The Club Credit Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Eligible Card"), and subject to the Terms and Conditions below.
- The Service is only applicable and offered to selected local transactions made by Cardholders at selected local merchants or selected local merchant categories with Eligible Card ("Selected Transactions") at Citibank’s and/or Club HKT Limited ("The Club")’s absolute discretion. Local merchant categories are subject to the definition of Mastercard® Merchant Data Standards and the settings of the acquiring bank. Selected Transactions do not include, but not limited to, withdrawal amount/loan amount under the Balance Transfer Program, Cash Conversion Program, "FlexiBill" Installment Program, "PayLite" Installment Program, "Quick Cash" Installment Program, payment to the Inland Revenue Department, casino transactions, payment made through Citi PayAll, unauthorized, fraudulent or abusive transactions, transfer or top-up transaction to certain e-wallet accounts (includes but not limited to PayMe, Alipay and WeChat Pay), and any other payments/transactions that Citibank and/or The Club may at their absolute discretion exclude from time to time. - To enjoy the Service, Cardholders must enable push notifications and turn on all types of push notifications on Citi Mobile® App. Citibank reserves the right to determine and change the type of the push notifications relating to the Service at its sole and absolute discretion from time to time.
- The Service is only applicable to Cardholders who successfully receive the push notifications relating to the Service from Citibank after performing the Selected Transactions ("Eligible Cardholders"). Citibank may send the push notifications relating to the Service to a Cardholder whose Eligible Card account is in good standing to participate in the Service, as determined by Citibank at its sole and absolute discretion. Citibank and The Club are not obliged to provide the Service to any Cardholder and may not send the push notifications relating to the Service to any Cardholder at Citibank’s and The Club’s absolute discretion.
- The Service is valid and available for the Selected Transactions for a limited period only. Within the validity period as stated in the associated push notification, Eligible Cardholders may tap the push notification and enjoy the Service via a redemption microsite. The redemption microsite will show Eligible Cardholder's then available Clubpoints of the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card. Eligible Cardholders may redeem Clubpoints up to a net amount of the Selected Transaction (rounded down without decimals) or the available Clubpoints of the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card (whichever is lower). Eligible Cardholders who choose to redeem must redeem a minimum redemption amount, which is subject to the minimum Clubpoints required for each redemption. The exact redemption amount and Clubpoints required (“Conversion Rate”) are based on the display at the time of each redemption. The Conversion Rate varies and may be changed by Citibank and The Club at their discretion from time to time.
- Once the redemption is confirmed by the Eligible Cardholder, the Eligible Cardholder agrees, accepts and consents that Citibank will pass the Eligible Cardholder’s The Club membership ID and the amount of Clubpoints redeemed (rounded up to the nearest integer) to The Club for The Club to deduct from the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card (“Redemption”).
- The statement credit redeemed from Clubpoints (“Statement Credit”, also referred to as “Credit” in other communications relating to the Service; for the avoidance of doubt, the terms “Statement Credit” and “Credit” have the same meanings when used in relation to the Service) will be posted to Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account within 7 days of Redemption by Citibank.
- The Eligible Card account and the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card must be in good standing at the time the Eligible Cardholder uses the Service and at the time when the Statement Credit is posted.
- Statement Credit will apply towards the Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card statement balance, but not the minimum payment due. The required minimum or total payment due reflected on the current Eligible Card account statement must be paid pursuant to the terms of the Cardholder Agreement of the Eligible Card.
- Statement Credit cannot be used for the following, including but not limited to, (a) offset interest, fees and charges, minimum payment on Eligible Card account statement; nor (b) be withdrawn as cash advance; nor (c) be transferred or exchanged for cash or cheque or other offers.
- If Eligible Cardholder returns or cancels the Selected Transaction, any associated Statement Credit redeemed from Clubpoints will remain on Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account and the redeemed Clubpoints will not be returned.
- The Service is subject to the Cardholders’ mobile device ability to support the Service for which Citibank and The Club are not responsible.
- Citibank and The Club do not guarantee the delivery, accuracy, or security of the contents of any push notifications sent by Citibank to any Cardholders. Citibank and The Club shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service, including but not limited to, (a) non-delivery, delayed delivery, wrong delivery or partial delivery of any push notifications for any reason; or (b) inaccurate contents of any push notifications.
- Information relating to Clubpoints (including without limitation availability, accuracy, and the amount of Clubpoints available for redemptions) are provided and managed by The Club. Citibank and The Club do not guarantee, and will not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any Clubpoint information available for redemptions (including without limitation the availability or the accuracy of the amount of then available Clubpoints). Citibank and The Club shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from any unauthorized redemptions or fraudulent or abusive redemptions.
- All redemptions cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash nor eligible for other promotion.
- Citibank and The Club are not responsible for any Cardholders’ failure to initiate, submit and/or process any redemption, voluntarily or involuntarily, arising from (but not limited to) network disconnection, technical device malfunction or any delay, interruption or disruption of the system.
- Citibank and The Club reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Service or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Citibank and The Club shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services of the Selected Transactions. The respective merchants are solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.

"Pay with Clubpoints - Mobile Redemption Service" Terms and Conditions
- The Pay with Clubpoints - Mobile Redemption Service (the "Service") is only applicable to the principal cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi The Club Credit Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited ("Citibank") ("Eligible Card"), and subject to the Terms and Conditions below.
- The Service is only applicable and offered to selected transactions made by Cardholders at selected merchants or selected merchant categories with Eligible Card in the current billing period and unbilled selected transactions, up to the last 60 days ("Selected Transactions") at Citibank’s and/or Club HKT Limited ("The Club")’s absolute discretion. Temporary authorizations are not eligible for the Service. Merchant categories are subject to the definition of Mastercard® Merchant Data Standards and the settings of the acquiring bank. Citibank and The Club reserve the right to determine and change which purchases/payments/transfers/transactions qualify as eligible Selected Transactions at their absolute discretion from time to time.
- Once the Selected Transaction is made, Cardholders agree, accept and consent that Citibank will pass Cardholders’ The Club membership ID that is linked with Cardholders’ Eligible Card to The Club for processing the Service.
- To enjoy the Service, Cardholders must be enrolled to Citi Mobile® App.
- Citibank may offer the Service to a Cardholder whose Eligible Card account is in good standing to participate in the Service ("Eligible Cardholder"), as determined by Citibank at its sole and absolute discretion. Citibank and The Club are not obliged to provide the Service to any Cardholder at Citibank’s and The Club’s absolute discretion.
- The Service is valid and available for the Selected Transactions for a limited period only. Within the validity period as stated in Clause 2, Eligible Cardholders may tap the Selected Transactions on Citi Mobile® App to enjoy the Service. It will show Eligible Cardholder's then available Clubpoints of the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card. Eligible Cardholders may redeem Clubpoints up to a net amount of the Selected Transaction (rounded down without decimals) or the available Clubpoints of the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card (whichever is lower). Eligible Cardholders who choose to redeem must redeem a minimum redemption amount, which is subject to the minimum Clubpoints required for each redemption. The exact redemption amount and Clubpoints required (“Conversion Rate”) are based on the display at the time of each redemption. The Conversion Rate varies and may be changed by Citibank and The Club at their discretion from time to time.
- Once the redemption is confirmed by the Eligible Cardholder, the Eligible Cardholder agrees, accepts and consents that Citibank will pass the Eligible Cardholder’s The Club membership ID and the amount of Clubpoints redeemed (rounded up to the nearest integer) to The Club for The Club to deduct from the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card (“Redemption”).
- The statement credit redeemed from Clubpoints (“Statement Credit”, also referred to as “Credit” in other communications relating to the Service; for the avoidance of doubt, the terms “Statement Credit” and “Credit” have the same meanings when used in relation to the Service) will be posted to Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account within 7 days of Redemption by Citibank.
- The Eligible Card account and the corresponding The Club membership account of Eligible Card must be in good standing at the time the Eligible Cardholder uses the Service and at the time when the Statement Credit is posted.
- Statement Credit will apply towards the statement balance of the following statement of the Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card, but not the minimum payment due or statement balance of the statement(s) that are already issued. The required minimum payment due or payment in full of the statement balance stated on the monthly issued statement(s) of Eligible Card must be paid pursuant to the terms of the Cardholder Agreement of the Eligible Card.
- Statement Credit cannot be used for the following, including but not limited to, (a) offset interest, fees and charges, minimum payment on Eligible Card account statement; nor (b) be withdrawn as cash advance; nor (c) be transferred or exchanged for cash or cheque or other offers.
- If Eligible Cardholder returns or cancels the Selected Transaction, any associated Statement Credit redeemed from Clubpoints will remain on Eligible Cardholder's Eligible Card account and the redeemed Clubpoints will not be returned.
- The Service is subject to the Cardholders’ mobile device ability to support the Service for which Citibank and The Club are not responsible.
- Information relating to Clubpoints (including without limitation availability, accuracy, and the amount of Clubpoints available for redemptions) are provided and managed by The Club. Citibank and The Club do not guarantee, and will not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any Clubpoint information available for redemptions (including without limitation the availability or the accuracy of the amount of then available Clubpoints). Citibank and The Club shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from any unauthorized redemptions or fraudulent or abusive redemptions.
- All redemptions cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash nor eligible for other promotion.
- Citibank and The Club are not responsible for any Cardholders’ failure to initiate, submit and/or process any redemption, voluntarily or involuntarily, arising from (but not limited to) network disconnection, technical device malfunction or any delay, interruption or disruption of the system.
- Citibank and The Club reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Service or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Citibank and The Club shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services of the Selected Transactions. The respective merchants are solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.

- In the event of any dispute, the decision of Citibank and The Club shall be final and conclusive.
- In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
Terms & Conditions of Free TravelCare Insurance (COVID-19 protection included)
- Free TravelCare Insurance is valid for eligible travel Journey(s) between April 25, 2024 – April 24, 2025 (both dates inclusive) and only applies to the principal cardholders ("Cardholders") of Citi The Club Credit Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited.
- For a Journey to be eligible for Free TravelCare insurance, Cardholders must have used his/her Citi The Club Credit Card to settle the payments for one or more of the following services: (1) the in/outward-bound travel tickets to/from Hong Kong; (2) the accommodation cost for the entire journey; (3) the tour package.
In the event that the services mentioned in (1), (2) or (3) is/are redeemed by using points earned by the "Citi The Club Credit Card Clubpoints Rebate Program", any additional costs (including tax and fuel surcharge and any fees which are required to be paid according to any local requirement at the Cardholder's destination (if applicable)) must be settled by the Cardholders with his/her Citi The Club Credit Card.

Insured Person : Principal Cardholder, or if under Family Plan includes his/her spouse and/or dependent child(ren) who travel outside Hong Kong on an insured Journey during the Period of Insurance:
a) Principal Cardholder / Spouse : between 18 and 70 years old
b) Dependent child(ren) : 23 years old or below and accompanied by either parent during insured journey.
Family Plan : The maximum limits "Per Family" under the Table of Benefits which shall apply when the Principal Cardholder is traveling with his/her spouse and/or dependent child(ren) during any insured Journey.
- Cardholders shall submit claims to Bolttech Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited (“bolttech Insurance”) and are required to provide valid proof of their eligibility at the time of making a claim, including but not limited to copies of document proof such as receipts showing that the requirement in clause 2 above has been fulfilled. Please refer to the Policy Provisions for detailed information on the claims procedure and required documentation.
